Elden Ring ~ In-Depth Review

Overall Score: +40
-Summary-
A superb open-world RPG from the makers of Dark Souls and Bloodborne. A bevy of great convenience features make this one of the most accessible Soulsborne games. The massive amount of quality content wrapped in a setting oozing with richness and personality will keep players coming back for years to come.

Trails from Zero ~ In-Depth Review

Overall Score: +26
-Summary-
This game is really good. Yes, the first half of the game is somewhat more relaxed and almost sim-like, but it builds up the intriguing and epic second half, a second half that shows just how good video game stories can get. This is the best Trails game I’ve reviewed, and although my personal favorite remains Trails in the Sky the 3rd, Trails from Zero is a JRPG classic through and through. You owe it to yourself to play this game if you’re a fan of RPGs.

Lufia 2 ~ In-Depth Review

Overall Score: +12
-Summary-
Lufia 2 is a quintessential 90s JRPG. It does what the golden era JRPGs do and does them pretty well. It even has some surprising twists like a 99-floor roguelike optional dungeon or the skill ring that resets dungeon puzzles. I’d say the motto I have finishing up Lufia 2 is, “I came for the JRPG, I stayed for the excellent puzzles.” Though, that doesn’t paint the full picture. Trails in the Sky 3 ~ In-Depth Review

Overall Score: +17
-Summary-
… it’s arguably the most character-centric entry in the franchise … Door scenes are tremendous; truly some of the most impressive storytelling across the entire Trails series …Not a lot of grinding in this one, which is great, though the last dungeon is a bit overtuned difficulty-wise … There’s just a ton of variety here, so many builds you can do and teams to try out due to the sheer size of the character roster.

Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated ~ In-Depth Review

Overall Score: +4
-Summary-
All in all, rather than being dated and rotted, this pineapple under the sea still has flavor and color to it. It’s not a particularly complex or intricate pineapple, but it’s of good quality and delights. My score of +4 may not seem like too much, but it’s because the game was incredibly consistent in its experience. It’s like a fun smooth ride without too many bumps or exciting hills.

Trails in the Sky 2 ~ In-Depth Review

Overall Score: +19
-Summary-
All in all, this is a great sequel to the beginnings of a saga that continues on to this day. While Sky 2 brings along a lot of the less appealing aspects that Sky 1 had like repeated dialogue and clumsy exposition, it also not only brings, but enhances all the things Sky 1 did so well, like character, story, and combat.

Trials of Mana Remake ~ In-Depth Review

Overall Score: +6
-Summary-
Trials of Mana is a successful remake that improves on the original with better controls, class system options, and sheer presentation with attractive 3D graphics and a faithful arranged soundtrack. With poor voice acting and script …

Mega Man 11 ~ In-Depth Review

Total Score: +11
-Summary-
Mega Man 11 is a continuation of the core series but acts as a reboot in terms of story. The gameplay of Mega Man 11 is some of the best in the entire series. Controls have never been more responsive and tighter, graphics and art have never been cleaner or more interesting …
